I have had a dreaded oil leak on the passenger side back of the engine. It showed up a couple of months after I just did a complete diss/re-assembly of the top of the engine including all four valve covers. It dripped oil on the turbo and then fumigated the cockpit. I was very cautious to seal everything with the correct RTV and all when I reassembled everything. Taking it apart again now I’ve noticed that the valve cover washers I installed are almost all split. They were silicone ones I got from CZP Z. Thought they were better than OEM because silicone is more pliable but they ended up splitting and I think this is the source of my oil leak. The OEM washers are $10/each. Anyone have an inexpensive source for them or a better replacement part? This has cost me a complete do over of the engine top components so it has to work this time.
